Digital Marketing Intern
Markagen is hiring a hands-on marketing operator to run full-stack sales and marketing for Markagen and use Markagen products to manage organic marketing for clients.
About The Role
This is not a narrow social media internship. The role combines sales, marketing, content operations, AI-assisted workflows, and client marketing delivery. You will work on Markagen's own growth and help operate managed marketing workflows for Markagen clients.
Roles And Responsibilities
1. Full-stack sales and marketing for Markagen
- Manage LinkedIn content for Markagen.
- Run LinkedIn outreach to D2C founders and marketing agency operators.
- Create SEO and GEO optimized website content, including news, articles, and blog posts.
- Manage Meta Ads and Google Ads.
2. Managed marketing for Markagen clients
- Use Markagen products to own organic marketing for Markagen clients.
- Research client businesses, audiences, competitors, and content opportunities.
- Turn Markagen-generated research and drafts into client-ready marketing outputs.
- Track approvals, publishing status, performance follow-ups, and next actions.
Requirements
- Comfortable working with the Codex application for end-to-end sales and marketing, including creating and managing automations.
- Proficiency in English and good writing and communication skills.
- Good understanding of content management in Instagram, Twitter/X, and LinkedIn.
Good To Have
- Interest in SEO, GEO, content marketing, and organic lead generation.
- Comfort using AI tools for research, writing, editing, and workflow execution.
- Basic familiarity with Meta Ads, Google Ads, analytics, or CMS tools.
Best fit: someone who writes clearly, learns fast, can stay organized across multiple small workstreams, and wants to use AI tools to do practical marketing work.
